Cartridges on the basic body assembled Cartridge The new BULLtec tooling system is easy to handle, extremely flexible and suitable for a broad range of applications. Its enormous capacity is also due to the specially designed setting angles of the cutting inserts, resulting in a particularly soft cut that goes gently on the machine and the tool and will ultimately result in significantly prolonged tool life, as shown by real-life examples: For instance, a 12-cutting edge BULLtec tool used for the machining of sheet metal slabs achieved a significantly longer tool life than the previously used 20-cutting edge tool. Another example shows that 3000 cutting metres were achieved in aluminium slab milling, with a feed rate of 30 metres, a cutting depth of 9 mm and a machine output of 440 kW.
